Adelaide Vascular Fellowship Trial Examinations (AVT)

The Adelaide Vascular Fellowship Trial Examinations (AVT) programme has been developed to prepare vascular surgical trainees and other candidates for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Fellowship Examination (FRACS). 


Key components of the AVT course include:

  • Viva Examinations that simulate the Clinical Long CasesShort CasesApplied AnatomyImaging and Operative Surgery examinations.
  • Sample Written Examinations simulating the Multiple Choice, Short Answer and Long Answer examinations with questions contributed by AVT faculty.
  • Specific endovascular sessions including the well-received Endovasculopathies Problem-Solving Session.
  • An Integrated Lecture and Tutorial Program covers core topics in Vascular Medicine and Vascular Surgery.

The 2017 Course begins Wednesday 15th March and concludes on Saturday 18th March (Provisional Program, subject to change).

Registration Fees (GST inclusive) are as follows:

Final Year Trainee $2500.00 Early Bird before 5th January, 2016
Final Year Trainee $2750.00 Regular Registration after 5th January, 2016
