Adelaide Vascular Fellowship Trial Examinations (AVT)

The Adelaide Vascular Fellowship Trial Examinations (AVT) programme has been developed to prepare vascular surgical trainees and other candidates for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Fellowship Examination (FRACS). 


Key components of the AVT course include:

  • Viva Examinations that simulate the Clinical Long CasesShort CasesApplied AnatomyImaging and Operative Surgery examinations.
  • Sample Written Examinations simulating the Multiple Choice, Short Answer and Long Answer examinations with questions contributed by AVT faculty.
  • Specific endovascular sessions including the well-received Endovasculopathies Problem-Solving Session.
  • An Integrated Lecture and Tutorial Program covers core topics in Vascular Medicine and Vascular Surgery.

The 2013 Course will begin on Wednesday 20th March and concluded on Saturday 23rd March.

Registration and Fees

All places have been filled.

Delegates will receive an electronic confirmation and tax invoice on receipt of registration and or payment. All further materials will be distributed at the conference. Please note that registration and attendance is only available to those intending to complete the trial exam course.

Registration Fees (GST inclusive) are as follows:

Final Year Trainee $2500 (Early Bird before 1st January, 2013)
Final Year Trainee $2750 (After 1st January, 2013)
